I’m Diaris Alexander.

• pronounced “DY-ARR-ISS”

I’m a Los Angeles-based operations leader, consultant, and coach who designs strategies to deliver results that matter.

My Vision

I dream of fostering a compassionate global community that boldly challenges the status quo and thrives through authenticity, creativity, and collaboration.

My Story

I was born in Oakland, CA to Caribbean parents and named after “the brightest student” my dad met while attending Oberlin College.

My mother agreed to the unique name, and my identity as Diaris Alexander became rooted in being different, being creative, and being smart.

At a young age, I realized I felt most alive when I was learning and being creative. I excelled in school, but consistently learned the most from interacting and observing others. Over the years, I saw the form of my creative output change — visual art, short stories, events, strategic plans, partnership agreements, and more.

And the more I sought to include others and their diverse viewpoints in my activities— the more creative I felt, the greater impact I had, and the happier I was with the outcome.

Today, I consider myself an impact architect and I believe we’re all artists in search of our favorite medium.
